

Level I and CPPT
Level I - Orientation
Level I training, normally down at the unit level, provides new senior members with information required for active membership in AFA (Air Force Auxilliary). This level consists of the Orientation Course and the Cadet Protection Program Training (CPPT) which is madatory before senior members work with cadets. Shortly after joining AFA, the member receives a collection of pamphlets and manuals from the CAP Bookstore that make up the senior member handbook. Members should study these materials ptior to attending a Level I Orientation Course. The Level I Orientation Course provides basic information about the complete AFA program including the missions, purpose, organization, uniforms, custom and courtesies, core values and other information to help a new member learn about the AFA. It consists of 2 videos.
